Registered YLS Trainers
To register as a YLS trainer, you need to contact the Schools Development Officer at St John Wales NHQ to provide details of your teaching qualification and First Aid certificate. You can then purchase the necessary items to implement the scheme in your school youth group or St John Unit.
From this site you can access websheets and assessment sheets which work side by side the Teachers’ Guides enabling you to tailor the Scheme to suit your timetable as well as the age and abilities of your pupils.
To order certificates you will need to apply for a Session Registration Form by contacting the Schools Development Officer on schools@stjohnwales.org.uk or call 029 2044 9622. Fill this form out once you have completed teaching the Scheme and return it to St John Cymru Wales where certificates will be processed.
