Join the Young Adults!

Young adults have the opportunity to progress their personal development and career opportunities within St John Cymru Wales.

This could be done through the following schemes-
The Amalfi Challenge
Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme
St John University groups
Overseas opportunities
Leadership roles

The Amalfi Challenge provides a flexible framework for 16 to 25 year olds to undertake a programme of personal development, whilst working towards the Amalfi Award. The Amalfi Challenge is self-directed, setting your own goals with guidance and support from other people.

The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme is one of the most recognisable and valuable non academic qualifications available. St John members aged 14 -25 are encouraged to undertake Bronze, Silver and Gold ‘DofE’ Awards through our status as an accredited DofE centre.

St John Cymru Wales has a number of units at Universities across Wales. For those going to University at these units you can learn a range of skills as well as taking on prominent roles within the units committee.

Overseas development work is a core activity within our National programme for 16 -25 year olds. In recent year’s trips to Zambia, India, Hungary, New Zealand etc have provided vital development skills and life changing experiences for all involved with the trips.
